Aims and Scope
The Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Technology (APST) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Research Division of Khon Kaen University. Previously known as the KKU Research Journal, APST has expanded its scope to engage with a broader international audience of researchers and readers.
APST publishes original research and review articles in English that have not been previously published elsewhere. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge that leads to creative practical applications, environmental preservation, and the enhancement of human well-being.

- Agricultural Science/Biological Science
- Health Science/Medicine
Focus
APST places particular emphasis on interdisciplinary research that integrates multiple fields. Our core interest lies in how engineering, scientific, and technological knowledge can assist, cooperate with, and enhance other disciplines to improve human well-being.
We especially encourage submissions that demonstrate integration across diverse disciplines, such as:
- Plant science and pharmaceutical science
- Plant science combined with agricultural engineering
- Automatic control systems in agricultural applications
- Energy technology integrated with agricultural or health sciences

Dear Authors of APST, please be informed that from December 9th, 2022, onward, the journal will change its submission and reviewing platform from the Editorial Manager (EM) to the Thailand Editorial System (Thai ES). For manuscripts submitted via EM system before December 9th, 2022, the review will continue to be carried out using the Editorial Manager (EM) until the process is completed.

The Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Technology (APST), formerly known as the KKU Research Journal, is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Research and Technology Transfer Affairs Division of Khon Kaen University. The journal’s title was changed in order to attract more international readers and authors.
