Announcements

  • Effective September 16, 2025, all manuscripts submitted to APST must include an Author Contributions section that clearly identifies each author’s specific contributions to the work using standardized terminology based on the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) system. Please download the updated manuscript template from the Author Guidelines section of our website to ensure your submission includes the proper formatting for this new requirement.

  • Please be noted that APST does not publish the manuscript with cohort studies (retrospective analyses or prospective analyses), survey/questionnaires results.

  • Please note that all correspondence and submissions must be conducted through institutional email addresses – personal email addresses (such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) will not be accepted for either authors or suggested reviewers. Authors and reviewers must use their official academic or organizational email domains that verify their institutional affiliations.

  • Effective November 19, 2024, all authors are required to disclose their use of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies employed during the manuscript preparation process. This declaration must be included in both the cover letter and manuscript submission. Authors should explicitly state their AI tool usage using the following standardized format: “During the preparation of this work the author(s) used [NAME TOOL/SERVICE] in order to [REASON].” This transparency requirement ensures research integrity and allows for proper evaluation of AI contributions to academic work. The declaration should be comprehensive yet concise, clearly identifying the specific AI tools or services utilized and their precise purpose in the manuscript development process. This policy aligns with evolving academic standards for transparency in research methodology and authorship practices.

  • Research articles: report original research findings in engineering science, technology, agricultural science, health science, and other related science and technology. The research article should include a clear research question, methodology, results, and conclusion. The article should also provide a clear and concise discussion of the research findings, their implications, and their contributions to the relevant field of study. APST does not accept survey or questionnaire-based studies, prospective observational studies, and case studies unless they demonstrate significant impact on community or industry.

  • Please be noted that APST does not publish the cohort studies or retrospective analyses.

  • Dear authors of APST, The Asia-Pacific Journal of Science and Technology (APST) has changed its editorial team (Editorial Board and Editors) effective in January 1, 2024. The list of editorial board members is currently being updated.

  • Dear Authors of APST, please be informed that the APST revise the Instructions for Authors from September 19, 2023. Please check in the “Instructions for Authors”.
